1. Viscosity: According to the working environment temperature of diesel engine, the oil with corresponding viscosity is selected.

2. Quality Grade: The basis for dividing diesel label is the solidification point of diesel oil. At present, the light diesel oil used in China can be divided into six grades according to solidification point: 5 # diesel, 0 # diesel, 10 # diesel, 20 # diesel, 35 # diesel and - 50 # diesel. The choice of diesel oil with different labels should be mainly determined by the temperature of the used diesel oil.
Generally speaking, 5 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures above 8 C; 0 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures between 8 and 4 C; - 10 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from 4 to - 5 C; - 20 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from - 5 to - 14 C; - 35 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from - 14 to - 29 C; - 50 # diesel oil is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from - 29 to - 44 C. Use at or below this temperature.
